Over the Hill!

That's right, Dan's now officially one day over the hill! We celebrated his 40th birthday all day long yesterday, which was a ton of fun! We started the morning with birthday donuts and lots of listeners wishing Dan a happy birthday. He even got 2 songs! Work went by quickly and was followed by a nice bike ride for Dan and a nap for us. He also got a few birthday phone calls before we headed to dinner at Outback with Kelly and Bryon for dinner, which was fantastic!

Dan ordered a Ribeye and me the salmon -- both were excellent! We topped off dinner with a birthday dessert, a sinful sundae!

Dan shared -- and even fed me strawberries!

But, he was not happy when I knocked over the presentation...

Then after dinner we headed to the theater and got primo seating, right behind two teenagers! But, once the movie started, they weren't half bad. We all really enjoyed the movie -- amazing special effects! Dan thought it was the best birthday. And, he even got more sweets when we got home, I had baked him a birthday cake -- double layered and everything. It was fantastic!

We were up past bedtime, but it was more than worth it, we had a great night! Thanks to Bryon and Kelly for helping us celebrate!
