Last night we went to DJ's Honors Recital at Millard West. This was an especially unique recital because they had to audition to take part in the recital. DJ was the only trumpet selected and one of just 13 to perform a solo last night. He was accompanied on stage with a piano player and just nailed his performance! We are so proud of him. It was a good day for DJ, he also got to drive to and from school (even from the parking lot, which was busy after the concert). We're still working on the gradual slow down and acceleration... but he's doing great.
Plus, Dan shot video of his performance... take a look!
