Our Wonderful Weekend!

Friday night we had dinner at Genji Japanese Steakhouse with our neighbors Mark and Kelly! We'd never been and were hoping to use our gift certificate from work... but it's only good on Tuesdays. Boo. So, we got all gussied up and headed to the restaurant. It was wonderful food and our Tepanyaki chef was fantastic! He was funny and even flipped a flaming bowl onto his hat.... CRAZY!

Saturday started out wonderfully!

Dan surprised me with breakfast in bed. He made cinnamon rolls, coffee and even brought me some flowers... very sweet!

I spent the day reading my book for our book club meeting that's coming up in two weeks, Dan watched some football, we hit the gym and spent some time with our Maddie

Baddie. But, also some snuggle time with Snowball, who hasn't been getting near the attention she deserves on MC, so here she is, on the kitchen rug.

Aren't they cute?! She loves to curl around his neck too... pictures to come! That night we went to downtown to emcee a fundraiser event for Youth Care & Beyond. It was a long night, but we met some nice people and had a decent enough time.

Sunday the boys awakened to chocolate chip pancakes, eggs and coffee! Then we headed to church and then back home to relax. A nice weekend.
