Nice Days Off!

First of all, we want to start out by wishing dad a HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY!! (He's finally caught up to mom and makes 60 look so handsome)! Dad, we hope your day is special and filled with love! We'd call and sing to you now, but it's only 5:21 am in the Valley of the Sun! :-) Love you dad.

So, onto the post! Dan and I have really been enjoying the end of summer! We've told you that a lot, but we're trying to hang onto the warmth as long as possible! We both started our running programs too. That's been energizing also! It feels good to have a goal! Dan's already out running 6 and 8 milers... not me... the most I've done is 2! But, I bet it's equally challenging for us because Dan is a born runner, me, not so much!

I've thoroughly enjoyed the weekend! Yesterday was a blast. My friend Kelly came over to hang out a bit in the afternoon with her precious bundle of joy... Olivia! Isn't she precious? She's only 3 1/2 months!

So we talked, ate lunch, oohed and awwed over Olivia and had a wonderful afternoon! But, we sure did tire both our babies out!

Aren't they cute? :-)

After our visit, I headed out to the mall to do some shopping! (at my company's expense of course)! Wow, did I find a lot of great bargains! (Guys... you can tune out now)! I got 3 pairs of shoes for $42 with tax! And... 2 were BCBG Girls and one Jessica Simpson! Mmmmhm! Good bargains! I also got some blazers/shirts/jewelry to wear on the air! I also ordered some stuff that should be here in the next couple of days! Very exciting! I love shopping on someone else's dime! So, I got home about 6:30 that night and Dan and I had dinner and watched the O'Reilly Factor and then our recorded episode of Prison Break! It was a nice, mellow evening.
