Dan and the kids packed a yummy dinner! We had sandwiches, sliced apples and chips! Very yummy! We were 4 of probably 1,500 people or more at the square! (and we weren't even on the packed side)!
Since we were a bit far from the stage and the speakers, we were only able to slightly hear the music, but it was very relaxing and the perfect weather night! Dan and I really enjoyed the music, some conversation and just hanging out in downtown, but I think the kids were a little bored... what do you think?!
Um, yeah. But, at the end of the day we were all glad we went! Here's another picture of the kids... one of my faveys! it was just nice to get out of the house together and enjoy a Wisconsin tradition for the first time!
After beating the rush, we headed home and finished off the night with 2 games of Scrabble! They were fun, high scoring games! Dan got a 66 point word and Becca a 48 point word! Alex won the first the game and Dan the second! We even learned that "xu" and "oi" are actual words! Mmmmhm. We're going to be using those in a sentence today!
