T Minus 207 Days

Wow.. can you believe it? Only 207 days until Dan and I tie the knot in Medford! I mean, that still sounds like a lot of days... but we can remember when it was still 300+ days away! I think I speak for the both of us when we say we're ready for this day to come! :-)

Wedding planning is going well. I'm doing a lot of it, but Dan is giving his input and I recently gave Dan a list, which he is eagerly working on! Right Dan? :-) My mom and I and Lauren (and hopefully Karoline) are all meeting in Medford in January to do some of the final planning. It's really been a breeze from out of town... I don't feel like I have to visit 5 different vendors... just pick one and cross it off the list! January will be the fun part... food tasting, cake tasting, wine tasting, meeting with the florist! All the fun stuff!

Anyway... reality is sinking in and we both want to look and feel our best so we've started our weight loss regimen... for the 6th time... but this time it's FOR REAL! We're calling it, eat BETTER and exercise MORE! (We're even doing 2-a-days)! In fact, this weekend our "date night" is a "date weekend" where we have a workout marathon playing basketball, racquetball and running on Saturday and then on Sunday, we're going to rest our bones, watch movies and splurge on naughty food, like cheeseburgers and fries from Culvers! And, on Thanksgiving morning we're running in the Berbee Derbey, both the 10K race, and we've been good about training! (We're hoping for an unseasonably warm morning and NO SNOW)! After that I think we're going to pick a run a month to do so we're constantly training. But come January it's marathon training for Dan and in March, it's half marathon training for me! We're going to run the Lake Geneva Marathon, which is near Milwaukee, in May! That way we won't have too much time to gain it all back before the wedding!

That' a picture of the lake! Pretty huh? The course takes us around the lake and it's supposed to be a GREAT marathon! We were going to do the Mad-City Marathon, but this one doesn't coincide with my cousin's wedding in Flagstaff! :-)
