So, its truly turned out to be a wonderful weekend! Having Thanksgiving day off work was just what the doctor ordered! Then, Friday afternoon we napped, put up Christmas decorations (photos coming soon) and topped off the perfect day with birthday cookies baked with love by Dan and a YUMMY dinner at Outback Steakhouse!
Saturday was GREAT too! We had a restful day followed with a workout and dinner. We also watched 2 1/2 movies! First we watched "Forest Gump" (solely because Dan wanted to clear room on our DVR) then we watched half of "The Incredible's" and part of "The Chronicles of Narnia." (we still have to finish that one)!
Sunday's been wonderful as well. After work, we sat on the sofa and finished "The Incredible's." Dan also read some in his Ted Dekker book and I've been working on Payton's blanket tirelessly! Dan had also baked me a birthday cake, white cake with chocolate frosting, that we didn't eat on my birthday since we had "birthday cookies." So, we had cake! I blew out all 20 candles (even though I had to spit a little... Ewwww) and it was delicious! A funny side note-- Dan had tried to spell out "Mishy" on the cake, but there weren't enough candles, so it was a little EXTRA holy, but still yummy! We followed up cake and football with a 4:30 church service and burgers and fries! Now it's the EXCITING game between Chicago and Denver to be followed with more work on Payton's blanket and Dexter... our new favorite show on Showtime! AND... San Francisco just won... AND... so did da Bears! Hm. We're good luck.
That's all for now. :-)
