A Hard Working Weekend!

Well, we did it, we worked out for 2 1/2 hours on Saturday night! We shared our time between the basketball court, the racquetball court, the weight lifting area, the track and the sit up mat! For the record, Dan and I shared wins and losses on the basketball court AND the racquetball court! It was a lot of fun, but we were out of steam even before we left the gym!

As you can imagine, Dan and I were VERY sore the next day, so after my work day, Dan and I picked up QDoba for lunch (like Chipoltle for those who know) and rested our bones on the couch during a movie marathon. First we watched Old School, (we hadn't seen it before, but laughed and laughed and laughed) next we saw Anger Management (it was alright) and then Dexter, one of our favorite TV shows (which was OUTSTANDING)! We also played a little Michigan Rummy... Dan came back from -30 start to beat me by 5 points. Boo hoo!

As for the week ahead, we're really looking forward to our FIRST Thanksgiving together! The best news is I don't have to work it for the first time in my television career and Dan has the day off traffic and Star Country too!! As we mentioned in our last blog, we're going to run the 10K race in the Berbee Derby, then make our feast and chow down! As for hoping for NO SNOW and a WARMER THAN USUAL morning... here's what we're getting...

But, on a brighter note, since my birthday is the next day, it just worked out that we're both filling in on the morning shows, so we'll have ALL afternoon together! YAY! Dan has something planned, but after relentless asking, he won't tell me what!

Happy Holidays to all of you! We hope your Thanksgiving is warm and wonderful and spent with the ones you love. We'll keep you posted on how our dinner turns out! It's BOTH of our first time making a turkey... so... we may just a get a frozen pizza JUST in case! :-)
