The Rose Bowl

Here's DJ to tell you all about his trip!

The trip was fantastic. I had so much fun. When we first got there, we went on a Hollywood Tour. I got to see the Hollywood Bowl. That place is enormous! Next we went on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was a lot of fun. But the sad part is, I couldn't take a lot of pictures. Not because I didn't want to, but because a lot of the places I went to, they didn't allow pictures or they didn't allow you to carry anything in. Like I went backstage in Disneyland, but no pictures. I played background disney music for a movie. That was fun - being a studio musician. I also went to a Medieval Times show. That was cool too. You had people come and give you food, and you had to eat it with your hands. All while you had a show going on with knights fighting each other and stuff. We did the Disney Parade. That wa brutal. They told us it was only 7 minutes, but it was like 20. The Rose Parade...now that was the best part. It was so cool to march in front of all those people. And I was on the end of our line in our block, so the people on my side could hear every note I was playing. Thinking about that while marching is so cool. I play better when I know people are listening. We had In-N-Out Burger at the end of the parade. We stayed in a nice hotel for the whole thing - Embassy Suites. Very nice. Anyway, I had a lot of fun. Thank you to everybody who helped out to make this happen. I greatly appreciate it.
