And of course... here's the kitty in her new home... a box from Costco.
OK... so as many of you know, Dan's been here about 2 weeks... me just 2 days. However, I wasn't in Madison the whole time, I took a nice, relaxing trip to Phoenix for a bachelorette party/bridal shower and then to San Diego to see my parents. I had a GREAT time! Lauren's bachelorette party was buckets of fun. She had tank tops made for each of us bridesmaids, which we wore out to a dueling piano bar.
Of course we made her get up on the piano while all the eligible bachelors in the room sang, "You've lost that love and feeling!"
And here's some more favorites.
The following day was filled with rest and relaxation. We laid by the pool, did some shopping, recovered and then enjoyed an evening of conversation and laughs. Sunday was followed by more time spent at the pool and Lauren's bridal shower. We spent the better part of the morning preparing for her shower, which was awesome!
After that we spent more time at the pool, hung out with Kari's daughter Payton and then just spent time chatting.
From there it was off to San Diego Monday morning to see my folks who are renting a condo on Coronado. It was great to see them!
We cooked some wonderful dinners on the roof top, did some shopping, went to the beach and most of all just enjoyed the time... which was evident as it FLEW by. While I was gone, Dan and DJ were getting all settled into the house, going through the dozens of boxes that had made their way to our new home in Omaha! I got home Wednesday night and worked my final 4 shifts. Saturday night was my going away party, which Dan made it back into town for. Here are some of the highlight photos...

The next morning I got up bright and early and did my final Weekend Live Show. I was quite sad pulling into the parking lot and thinking about the finality of it... so I stopped thinking about that. The show went very well and was thoroughly enjoyable. It wasn't until the last 10 minutes that I was unable to hold it together... I got teary for my goodbye... but Chris was a true professional and helped me through it. It was a tough morning... followed by pictures, breakfast and a road trip to Omaha.

So, now we're here, have worked 2 shifts and are still getting the house in order. Once that's done... we'll post pictures and maybe even video. Until then... check out our Star page at http://www.104star.com/.
