A Pretty Good Day!

Well, after all of the stress and worry, Clear Channel had their 11 am meeting Tuesday and let go of three people, one of which was NOT Dan! I mean, it's a happy and sad kind of day because 3 people did get let go, but we're thankful Dan still has his job. On top of that GREAT news, our replacement coffee/espresso maker arrived! You may remember our old one just quit making coffee one day. So, since it was under warranty, we shipped it off and they sent us a bran-spankin' new one! Here it is, in all it's glory making me a hot cup of joe, which I am now enjoying!





We also found out yesterday that my credit card company WILL extend the warranty on our replacement lamp for the TV that burned out a few weeks ago. YAY! So, we ordered a new lamp, which will hopefully arrive before my husband completely loses it, and they will reimburse us the cost! It was a good electronics day in the Arthur house! And, it was a pretty good day for Ms. Meow Meow too, because she gets to call this big, brown box the coffee maker came in... home!

Dan and I went to our new favorite Mexican Food place to celebrate him keeping his job and to blow some of the money I got paid for babysitting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Then, it was a quiet night at home and not a very restful night sleep for either of us. (But, I'm sure DJ slept like a log). Boy, I'd give anything to be able to sleep the way I did in high school.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention, it looks like we may be booking 2 more weddings! One wanted to know if we'd just shoot, her son is a sports anchor/reporter in Sioux Falls. We said sure for half price, but make sure it's something he wants to do! I just couldn't even imagine trying to honeymoon, settle in to a new marriage AND edit my wedding video along with wacky TV hours! No thanks! That's worth the other half of the price, let someone else do it! But, it's less work for us, literally a days work, can't complain about that!
