DJ's A Rock Star!

He's been rockin' it in band lately. Last Friday they took a field trip to Memorial High School where they played in a band festival with kids from other freshman bands. He said he had a great time and that they played very well!

Then, last night he had a band concert that Dan and I went to at West High School. The Freshman Band played first and sounded fantastic! The high school has a beautiful auditorium. We sat in the balcony and had a pretty good vantage point. It was tough to get a picture from that far away, but I did it!

Here's DJ's take... "I just got back from a band concert. It was a lot of fun! On my 3 solos, I played the very well...not perfectly I might add...but very well. Fun stuff."

Needless to say, we had a lot of fun watching.

And, today was a GREAT day for MDA Productions, but not so much for Dan. He's been battling a cold and just isn't feeling right. He's going to take the day off tomorrow, sleep and try to recover, so that's good. Maybe Snowy will baby him? But, back to MDA, we booked those 2 weddings I told you about last post! One's in June, they just want us to shoot their wedding, he's going to edit. Um, OK, really looking forward to that one. The other is in July. We worked out a 5 hour shoot for a good price, thrilled about that! So, it's one wedding Mother's Day, 2 in June, 2 in July, 1 in August and 1 in September. But, at this rate, who knows! We can't believe we've booked 3 this month. We'll have to see what next month holds.
