This morning we woke up and while I cleaned a bit, Dan made a delicious breakfast! We had scrambled eggs with Canadian bacon, jalapenos, cheese and Chulula! So good! The cheese was like the perfect amount of gooey and spicy!
After that, Dan got his hair cut and we were off to search for the GREAT pumpkin! Not only did we have to search for our pumpkins, we had to search for the pumpkin patch! We had forgotten where it was, so we swung by Clear Channel to ask one of his co-workers who knows the town like the back of his hand! So, once we found the patch, we then headed out into their many pumpkin patches.
Many of the pumpkins looked like they'd seen better days... so we moved on to the farthest patch. Dan found his first. (Here's Dan thinking, is she really going to take a picture of me)?
He waited patiently for me, but not too long! After searching high and low for another five minutes, I found mine! A little messy and muddy, but well worth it!
Here we are after we found our GREAT pumpkins! They were very heavy... 12 and 15lbs... and we had to carry them all the way back! That caused us to work up quite a sweat, which is tough to do when it's only 53 degrees out!
So, now that we got them, we are SO excited to carve them up! A few days ago we bought the pattern book and tomorrow night, Kelly and her boyfriend Mark and their daughter Olivia are going to come over and carve them with us! And, we're going to buy one get one free of the BEST PIZZA EVER... Glass Nickel! Should be a lot of fun! We'll of course be showing you the finished products!
Now I am at work and Dan is too after we went for a 3 and 5 mile run! The weather felt just about perfect for a run! He's tracking his show for tonight and then is planning on a quiet evening with Indiana Jones!
