From the top... Our Sunday has been wonderful. I got home from work early and Dan and I went for a run. After that, a nap for me, then off to church, which happened to be one of our favorite evenings there. We really liked the message which focused on the 10 Commandments. Then, Kelly, Mark and cutie pie, baby Olivia came over afterward. We picked up the BEST PIZZA EVER from Glass Nickel! After stuffing ourselves, we turned our attention to pumpkin carving!
Here's Dan and I digging out the guts!
Here's Kelly and Mark!
And Olivia. She kept herself entertained!
Isn't she just adorable? And so sweet!
Back to the pumpkins. We all chose our designs out of a book, then poked holes in the pumpkin, leaving us with a pattern to carve. However, mind just looked like a whole bunch of dots! I chose a tough one!
Here we are, all DONE! Not quite as impressive when they're not lit up!
So, here they are, the SCARY pumpkins! First up, Dan's! He went for a Patriotic Pumpkin.
Next up, mine! MUCH Spookier!
Now, Kelly's! Simple, but sweet.
And, last, but not least, Mark's! A little more scary!
We finished the night with a game of Scrabble. Mark won by a long shot, but I did come in second! Then, they headed home and Dan got attacked by nasty allergies. For some reason the end of October and November are tough for him. We closed the windows and it was still BAD. He's trying to get some sleep now while the cat and I are hanging on the sofa, blogging and watching the news. It's been a great weekend. Now, I get to enjoy two more days off! Tomorrow I'm going to do some scrap booking, get a work out in and then am having dinner with my former co-host Brock! I cannot wait! It's been TOO long since we've hung out!
