Costco Dogs!

We recently switched from Sam's Club to Costco. We'd been going to Sam's for about a year, but once Costco opened a little more than a month ago, we reevaluated. The people at Sam's here just aren't very friendly. (But if you go to the one Mesa, AZ, my Uncle Tom will say Hi and be the most friendly one there)! After just one trip to Costco, we were SOLD! They are so friendly... and after having my first Costco dog... we're never going back!

Dan was SHOCKED I had never had a Costco dog... so of course... we HAD to get one! We covered it up with catsup, mustard, LOTS of onions, and for Dan, some relish.

And of course, he wanted to take my picture too.

He even wanted to write this blog... but didn't. (Slacker)! After my first bite, I was sold! It was heavenly and very filling! Can you believe it... a hot dog and soda for just a buck 50. It's a good thing we don't live near Costco or go every day or we'd be 300lbs. each!

Other than that, we've just been laying low. I went to Brock's for dinner last night. We had stuffed pork tenderloin, twice baked potatoes and a cider-jello-thing. It was yummy! And, the conversation must have been good because I stayed for 3 hours! Digging into the archives, here's Brock and I, my former co-host from a station event last November.

It's always a joy to get to see Brock, and it was the first time I saw he and Adam's house, which was AWESOME! The did a great job decorating and painting! Dan had to work, so he missed out.

Today's been mellow too. I got some new contacts, did some clearance shopping at Target and then Dan and I went for a run. Speaking of... today starts my official first day of training. Dan's been following his program for 6 weeks now, but mine is only a 12 week program, so this is technically my FIRST week, although the 7th week I've been repeating it! (Do you follow)? Either way, I guess the point is, we run our 1/2 and full marathon in 12 weeks! Seems too soon to be January doesn't it?

We had chow-mien and shrimp for dinner, watched Prison break and now Dan's editing and I'm blogging and watching the FOX Report. I'm ready for this election to be over... I keep having nightmares that Barack Obama wins. Ugh!
