Our Little Boy is Growing

Wow, he's rolling over from his back to his side (sometimes), playing with toys and now eating out his brand new high chair. (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the great Christmas present)! He likes his chair... but not the sweet potatoes so much. We're going to try making them a little thinner and see if that helps. But other than that, our little man LOVES his veggies! So far he's got upset when he finished his carrots and his yellow squash. So cute... so we started giving him a little more. It's been fun to introduce him to solids... but the byproduct has been disgusting. I'll just leave it at that!

He's just really starting to come into his own and loose the fussiness of a newborn. He's going down easier for naps and bedtime and has even started sleeping a little better for us, although we've come up with a pretty good system for each of us to get some z's. He's just the sweetest, happiest baby! Almost makes us not want to have number 2, since number 1s so wonderful! I mean, he'd be hard to top. It's been good to be home and good to be back to work. We've got some exciting possibilities coming up... hopefully we can share soon. Our vacation is just what we needed to be rejuvenated in our jobs and refreshed. If I ever own a company, employees will get 4 weeks PTO. I think it makes for happier employees and a better work place. Tomorrow night's the big Oregon v. Auburn game! We were going to take Tuesday off... but Kurt would rather us not. So, we're just going to be exceptionally tired. But, that's the way it is. I'm so excited I even bought my first Oregon shirt to wear. Now between Dan, DJ, me and Jackson our house will look like the cheering section for the Ducks. Can't wait!
