Exciting news... Jackson cut his FIRST tooth!! It's one of his front, center teeth and we knew it would be happening any day... and then this morning we saw some white poking out from his gums! We're excited, but I think it rather hurts him... he was a little extra fussy this morning, when normally first thing in the morning is our most favorite time to play and laugh.

Let's see, we also had another first last night... he ate baby oatmeal for the first time and like it! He ate it all up and then proceeded to eat up all his avocados, which he also really likes! I would say Avocados and sweet peas are his two faves so far, followed by carrots. After church this morning we're moving on to Asparagus. Not sure how well that will go over, but we've been pleasantly surprised thus far. Next we're going to tackle spinach and then it's on to fruits! We cannot believe how quickly our little guy is growing up... it really does go fast and we're doing our very best to enjoy every moment with him and every stage. I guess it's easier for me because I hardly know what comes next... so it's all been a fun surprise! He's also started a new habit at the dinner table that we're not so fond of. When he wants a break or is just being silly or is just being difficult he will raz, or blow bubbles instead of allowing you to feed him or put his paci in. Stubborn! I wonder who he gets that from?

Jackson's much more rolly, but still prefers his back. He's doing really great at sitting up on his own. He can usually do it for as much as 30 seconds or so and is really getting good at pulling himself forward! He's so strong! We've just been having so much fun with him. He still loves to be held and demands it quite often, but again, we're just trying to enjoy it because soon enough he will be much to "busy" to want to be held.

We've had a pretty good weekend thus far, all things considered. Dan had another dental surgery on Friday right after our show, so he's been laid up on Vicadin. I had a remote on Friday afternoon and then Kelly and I went to go see Mary Poppins at the Orpheum Theater! It was fantastic! All of the Disney magic was wonderful on the stage and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were invited to stay for the cast party after the show, so we met a few of the actors and also a few of the other morning radio personalities, which was nice. It was a late night though, we got home a little before 1 a.m. I came home to a dark, quiet house. The boys had a "Guys Night" which meant they ate pizza and watched a movie... The A Team. The next morning they said they had a wonderful time together and that Jackson was easy and went to bed about 7:30.

Saturday morning I had another remote at the same Chevy dealer and then came home, put on my jammies and snuggled on the couch with Dan and Jackson. When Jackson went down for his afternoon nap Dan and I watched "The Other Guys" and part one of the season finale of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. DJ headed off to his friend Joe's house to hang before they had to play at the basketball game. Dan and I had a nice, quiet evening too. Jackson was a real joy, ate his avocados, nursed and went straight to bed. After that we enjoyed a delicious spaghetti dinner and a few episodes of Entourage. Then, we called it a night around 10 p.m. and got a lot of sleep... except for Dan who got up with Jackson and did his overnight feeding. It was nice to sleep after such a busy weekend. And, Dan's mouth is feeling much better today. Plus, we got the results of his MRI back and everything looks good! Hooray!

Today is relaxing, church, relaxing and bed time. Another quick weekend with more snow on the way Monday. 3-6" Boo, hiss! We're ready for spring.
