Friday was a low key day, since it was a long day for everyone. We lounged around the house, went to the Millard West band tailgate fundraiser and then spent the evening catching up. This morning we had some coffee talk before heading to Pepperjax for lunch... we couldn't wait for them to try our new favorite Omaha restaurant! They loved it! After that Dan, Mike and Mimi took a trip to Boys Town. They toured the entire property, including Father Flannigan's house before coming back and hanging out with Jackson and I. We're having a wonderful afternoon together watching college football and hanging with Jackson.
DJ went to a band competition in Sioux City for the day. He said they played very well. He had just a few minutes to get ready before Kaylee stopped by so they could head to Homecoming with a group of friends.
This afternoon Dan, Mike, Jackson and I took a walk around the park by our house, which was lovely, especially since it was around 70 degrees out!
After that we put Jackson to bed and enjoyed a lasagna dinner. Then it was frozen custard and some time together.
