Hip, hip, hooray! Becca arrived safely and soundly on Monday afternoon. It was SO good to see her! We picked her up, picked up Jackson (whom she barely recognized) and headed home to play and catch up. We've had a wonderful time with her thus far, I cannot believe how fast it goes. Jackson and Becca have totally taken to one another and Jackson's even said her name a couple of times although it usually comes out as "Beppa!" Too cute!
And of course, he's still very fond of his big brother. Becca came into work with us on Tuesday and we put her on the air several times... it was a lot of fun having her there, she's a pro! We've also done some exercising, Dan's taken her to play some b-ball at the park, we've had yummy family dinners and movie nights and just today (we took Monday off) Dan took the kids to the water park by our house. They had a great time!
We also made a trip to the Farmer's Market down the road, which was fun, but hot. We got an iced tea at Paradise Bakery first, got Jackson some sunscreen at Scheel's and then hit the market. By that time Dan had caught up with us, he rode his bike to meet us. We got some fresh salsa and sweet corn... and both are fantastic!
Later that say we went to an Omaha Storm Chaser's game, which started out fantastic.
It's a gorgeous park... brand new this year... and this was our first time going. It was a little hot at first, but still enjoyable.
Dan and I got picked to be the Facebook fans of the game and got to be on the jumbotron and got $20 to a Mexican restaurant. Pretty cool! 
And then the rain started coming down in the 4th... right as the game was getting GOOD! We ran for cover... but since more storm clouds were building... we decided to head home.
They did resume play, but it finally got called in the 8th. Twas a good night... although we decided instead of the Storm Chasers, they should be called the Sunny and 70s. The name just might be a jinx.
