Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope you had as wonderful a day as we did! This Thanksgiving, partially because we were unprepared, we tried a new way to cook our turkey, which included cooking the turkey in a brown grocery bag.




It doesn't look very good, but it was moist and yummy! While the turkey was cooking itself, we were busy making all the other fixings! Dan made stuffing and mashed potatoes and I made the gravy, casserole and deviled eggs! Here we are hard at work!

And of course the Snowball, clearly feeling better, was hard at work scrounging!

Dinner turned out very nice! In fact, Dan and I thought our turkey turned out better this year than last! (We forgot to buy rolls at the store, but fortunately had some hamburger buns to use in their place). And, the table setting was much nicer too!

For dessert, Dan made our now traditional No Bake Cherry Cheesecake which was delicious and now, all gone!

Now, I'm home on my dinner break! Work went fast and everyone is in a good mood because it's Thanksgiving! I won't be home long because I have to do the 10pm, then be back at 3AM...

But, back to Thanksgiving, Dan and I are very thankful for the kids, the kitty and our families. We love you and miss you and can't wait to see you again SOON!
