The event was raising money for food pantries in our area and also turned out to be a "weatherman" challenge. Myself and two of the other weatherman's teams all competed for a cool trophy. Each "celebrity" automatically got a score of 200 to be added to the games of one Hall of Famer and one Pro. My team rocked it, BUT, we lost by 1 pin! 1 stinkin' pin! So, I guess our Chief will have to go back next year to battle it out!
Then this morning, with just 4 hours of sleep, Becca and I headed into the station to do the news. It was a fun show... which it usually is when I've had a lack of sleep! :-) Then, Becca-bug got up at the weather wall and did the weather! She rocked it!
And, she looked great on camera! So. much. fun! We're getting a DVD of her work to send home with her... should be a neat keepsake!
So now, we're watching Becca's 2 movies that came in today on Netflix! First it was The Spiderwick Cronicles and now it's Zoom! We also ordered Papa John's (her choice) and are getting ready to watch the Packers play the 49ers... minus Brett Favre.
Tomorrow it's to the airport for Becca-bug and home with about a week left before school starts. I cannot believe how fast she and Alex's visits have come and gone. We're sad to send her off... especially Snowball... they've formed a sweet friendship.
OK... now it's back to watching the movie.
