Oh yeah... we are so excited, it's all we can do not to just break out in a giggle! Today is technically our "lifting day" at the gym, but it's going to 45 degrees this afternoon so we are going to for a nice, long run! And, even if we (I) can't run the whole distance, we're going to walk, just to be outside! We'll probably be gone about an hour! Nice not to be couped up in the house! Do you know this is the first time we've been able to be outside, running since November? Even on the handful of warmer days we've had, it hasn't been safe to run because of all the ice. And, now that we've "sprung forward" the sun is staying up until 7pm, it's awesome! Just that alone is enough to make me smile! Another reason to smile... Dan and I are on a roll with our work outs! 6-days a week we're running, lifting, doing stairs or some kind of cardio! And, we're eating REALLY well and enjoying it! Dan's been doing a lot of cooking lately and it's been fantastic! We had the yummiest chicken fajitas I've ever had two nights ago! So the results? I am down 5 pounds and Dan is down 5 lbs. too and we're both losing! We're so happy! We also measured ourselves, so in another few weeks we'll have an "inches lost" update!

Aren't they CUTE!! So, as I write this, it's Tuesday and we're just 3 days away from Becca's big visit! Her dad has been counting down the days since we booked her flight and so has she! Dan's picking her up in Chicago late Friday night and she is staying with us for almost 10 days... through Easter! We don't have too much planned yet other than quality time! We'd like to go ice skating, take Becca out for a nice dinner, play a bunch of games, watch movies and go shopping among other things! Because of Dan's morning schedule, he'll have plenty of quality time with Becca! We can't wait! Hurry up Friday!
My school semester is flying by! I can't believe I am a semester and a half (and passing the final) away from becoming a Meteorologist! Holy smokes! I just took one round of midterms last week (I got an 83%) and have another one today I'm getting ready to study for! This one should be much easier, but I haven't studied a lick. My final semester begins May 7th, which gives me plenty of time to work ahead so I won't have to study or take exams during our wedding/honeymoon! It's working out GREAT! As my Aunt Linda said, by October I'll have two new titles... Mrs. and Meteorologist! Meteorologist Michelle Arthur... what do you think!? Has a nice ring to it! Other than that, Dan and I are just enjoying each other and trying to get things in order for the big day! We're working on putting together favors and gearing up for dance lessons in April! Fortunately our "to do" list is getting smaller and we're also able to enjoy each other! Speaking of... Dan just got some GREAT news with work! Since he's working almost 45 hours during the week, he no longer has to work 6 days a week! YAY!! Dan now has a 2-day weekend! He still has to record a shift on Star Country (http://www.963starcountry.com/) on Sundays from Noon-3, but he can do that on Friday's before he goes home! I don't think it's quite sunk in for him yet, but come this weekend when he can spend the entire time with Becca, it will!
Love,
M&D
