Summer Nights...

First things first. We apologize about the delay in blogging, not to give you too many excuses here, but our employers have been working us to the bone! Dan hasn't had a day off in nearly 2 weeks and Michelle swears he's just a little bit (or a lotta bit) grumpy. But seriously, who doesn't like "grumpy" Dan? :-)

We both experienced something REALLY cool over the weekend. Being from the west coast we had never seen a firefly. (or are they called lightning bugs?) We got to chase after fireflies at a weekend bar-b-q, where the ribs were FANTASTIC! Anyway, back to the light up bugs, we tried to capture our delight on camera... but failed miserably! (by we, I mean me, Michelle. Apparently I couldn't capture the little buggers when they were lit up, but Dan did on the first try. You'll have to ask him for his impression over the phone, it's rather funny). Instead we'll just tell you how magnificent they looked, it's like they never got tired of lighting up!! Soooo Cool! I think you can see one in the jar... and by Dan's finger? :-)
